The Albanian diaspora has launched an action in all major cities of Europe and America where they are organizing protests against the formation of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities, claiming that it is a national organization that, like the Republika Srpska, would have executive powers and could block the work of Kosovo, Politika reports.

After the protests in New York and Washington, the Albanian diaspora organized protests in the European Union, from Brussels to Liege to Berlin. The last protest, last weekend, was held in Geneva, Switzerland, where Albanian emigration is traditionally strong.

The organizers sent a letter to the US, the EU, and the UN asking them to stop putting pressure on the Kosovo government to establish the CSM, because, they claimed, it would destabilize Kosovo.

Apart from abroad, the protests, under the auspices of the radical Albanian Self-Determination Movement, were also held in Pristina and the southern part of Mitrovica. At the protest in the part of Mitrovica where the majority of Albanians live, it was held before the meeting in Brussels, last Monday, and the main topic is opposition to the formation of the CSM.

In addition to harsh words, the flag of "Greater Albania" dominated the protest.
