Bajrami: Kurti's government's balance sheet is bad; all members of his family are already in institutions
Deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Hykmete Bajrami, in the debate held at the session of the Assembly of Kosovo, criticized the government because there had been no projects and investments in the past two years, and because, as she stated, there was nepotism in the institutions, Dukagjini reports.
She criticized Albin Kurti's government for dysfunctional institutions and for the lack of transparency in their work in the past two years.
"No jobs, no projects, no investments, no roads, no schools, zero transparency, institutions are dysfunctional - this is the balance sheet of Kurti's government. You came to power with big promises. Your entire economic policy has been reduced to charity. Let's not talk about transparency. Kurti promised in the opposition that he would not pay for electricity for the Serbs of the north, but in two years he paid a full 98 million euros," Bajrami said.
The LDK Deputy also criticized Kurti because, according to her, "all members of his family are already in the institutions", alluding to nepotism.
"What happened to the promises? Where are the development bank and the state fund? We have a decline in domestic production and a decline in consumption. The property tax has increased, and there are jobs in Germany, but none in Kosovo. The Prime Minister used to say that family members are for weddings; today you can freely have weddings in institutions because you have all your family members there. I believe that you should be ashamed of the votes you received, for these two years you have not had a single obstacle to achieve your program," she continued.
