Bozinovic: Serbia will not recognize Kosovo

The former ambassador of Serbia in Germany, Milovan Bozinovic, said today that Serbia would not recognize Kosovo, because the territory seized by NATO aggression was not recognized anywhere. He stated for Tanjug that for Pristina, the normalization of relations meant meeting all their aspirations, which, as he stated, went too far, RTV reports.

Bozinovic believes that the framework agreement is a useful document that Serbia made in a politically wise manner and that it allows us to approach the real tasks, with a certain relaxation, which are to make the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija better.

"The CSM is treated as a promise that is being postponed, so once the Pristina side achieves all its goals, and then they would return to the CSM. There is no longer any faith; trust is seriously called into question. We have to achieve that goal," he said.

Bozinovic believes that it is imperative for every politician to work in the interest of the state, but that Serbia has no opportunity for extreme positions, categorical promises, and denials when it comes to imposing sanctions on Russia. He adds that by achieving success in the relationship between Belgrade and Pristina, that question would be asked more flexibly.

He notes that it is necessary to achieve a breakthrough in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina in Ohrid on March 18; otherwise, as he says, the whole concept of normalization of relations between Belgrade and Pristina will collapse.

"The Serbian side has done so much, asserted itself as a constructive partner, and now because of a political caprice, as shown in Pristina, all of that is being canceled. That would be dangerous for this region and for the EU, and for global stability in the environment in which we live," Bozinovic emphasized.
