Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabic stated today that the only thing Albin Kurti wanted was to provoke conflicts, and she also noted that she had never seen representatives of the European Union so concerned about what would happen next.

"I think they are fully aware that Kurti will not only continue with provocations but will also escalate them to a new level because his time is running out. He hasn't done anything; he won't even mention the Brussels Agreement, he doesn't pay attention to it, to the CSM," Brnabic said for Pink TV.

She added that even last night, a warning had come from the United States that the Brussels Agreement must be implemented and the CSM must be formed.

"That's why he sees his way out in provoking conflicts, and this is obvious to everyone in the United States and the EU. There is great concern. Our position will not be easy, and September will be quite challenging," Serbia's prime minister pointed out.

Brnabic thanked the Serbs in Kosovo for their patience, resilience, and enduring difficult circumstances, and she emphasized that it showed the difference between the Serbian people and the Albanian leadership in Pristina. It shows who seeks peace and peaceful coexistence, and who aims for an ethnically pure Kosovo, conflicts, mistreating people, and creating ghettos, something not seen in Europe since World War II.

Regarding her personal impression of the Bled Strategic Forum, where she participated with Kurti, she said it was a "terrible feeling" for her. She explained that she had to sit with someone who mistreated the Serbian people, did not respect any agreements, and tried to make the entire world, the EU, and the US appear foolish.

"So that he can say that he's the 'little Zelenskyy' and that we are the 'little Putin,' that Kosovo is the most successful story in the history of mankind, and he leads a government that is a leader in respecting human rights. You could say a lot to him, but in a way that it won't be used for people to think – they are the same, there's no difference, it's just a Serbian-Albanian conflict. Instead, you have to say things as they are, what your country's position is, and how difficult the situation is. But you have to deal with it," Brnabic said.

As she added, the burden on Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic is the heaviest because he leads the dialogue and meets with Kurti more frequently, and that is "catastrophically difficult" in every way.

When asked how other countries now treat Pristina after everything, she replied, "It depends on the country." However, as she added, it is now entirely clear that Kurti does not respect any agreements and hasn't fulfilled anything, and the Serbian people in Kosovo are in an extremely difficult position.

She reminded that even Germany's Special Representative Manuel Sarrazin had said in July that the Serbian people were suffering greatly.

"It is difficult when you have to sit on a panel with a person who allowed six Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija to be shot. The one who shot an 11-year-old child is free. That person not only created an atmosphere for such actions but also encouraged such acts against Serbs. And then he says they are leaders in respecting human rights while you have Serbs who have been detained for illegal construction for over 21 months," Brnabic concluded.
