The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, assessed that the fight that had taken place in the Assembly of Kosovo had been a catastrophic event, adding that she feared that the incident could result in an even more radical policy of Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti towards the Serbs in Kosovo.

Brnabic said in the show "Hit Tweet" on TV Pink that this event would further cause instability.

"Kurti is not interested in doing something concrete; it is ideology, collecting political points on war rhetoric, I am afraid that this happening, no matter how much someone here likes to see those scenes, will result in even more radical politics. The question is how much the West wants to tolerate," Brnabic said.

She announced that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, would go to Brussels this week and that she would continue the fight to preserve peace.

"The President is doing his best to preserve, I can't say stability because it is no longer there, but to preserve peace, and he continues to try to explain to those in the West what is happening and what kind of pressure is on the Serbs in Kosovo," Brnabic points out.

They say she does not believe in Kurti's plan to de-escalate the situation in the north of Kosovo.

She states that she would like to have someone she could talk to and have a real dialogue with.

"When you have a real dialogue, no matter how difficult and unpleasant and terrible it was, you again have some kind of stability and predictability for the people living in Kosovo. So far, I have not seen in Kurti that he wants de-escalation, and I am afraid that the loss of his political credibility will force him to attack the Serbs again," Brnabic adds.

She states that in the Western centers of power, they have a lot of understanding toward Kurti, which is incomprehensible to her.

"Vucic manages to cushion the situation; before it was unthinkable that Kosovo would have sanctions from the US or the EU, but now it has happened. It was an unthinkable situation, but the wise policy and boundless patience of the Serbs from Kosovo led to it. On the other hand, you have to be ready at any moment to physically protect the Serbs in Kosovo. A new 'Operation Storm' will not happen," Brnabic pointed out.
