Burjani: Independence Day is a responsibility for all citizens of Kosovo

Analyst Blerim Burjani emphasized that Independence Day is the most important day for Kosovo, but that it also represents a responsibility for all citizens of Kosovo.

On the occasion of the 18th anniversary of the declaration of independence, Burjani stressed that Kosovo still has much work to do in all areas in order to achieve economic development.

“More work is needed on economic stability, implementing reforms in education and public administration, providing health insurance to citizens, and reforms are also needed in the pension system and the protection of human rights,” Burjani told Kosovo Online.

As an important segment in which Kosovo needs to make progress in the coming years, Burjani cited integration into the EU.

“Additionally, much more engagement is needed for Kosovo to have a stable defense,” Burjani added.
