Chollet on conversation with Kurti: Now is time to talk about CSM

The Counselor of the US State Department, Derek Chollet, who spoke on the phone with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti yesterday, announced that on that occasion, he had said it was time to discuss the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities.

Chollet wrote on Twitter that both Kosovo and Serbia should implement the agreements they have already signed through the dialogue process, including progress toward establishing the CSM.

"Spoke with PM Albin Kurti today, ahead of the EU-facilitated Dialogue leaders' meeting to advance the normalization of relations between Serbia and Kosovo. The US supports a constructive meeting that affirms both parties' commitment to the EU proposal. I shared that now is the time to discuss the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities. Both Kosovo and Serbia should implement the agreements they have already signed on to through the Dialogue process, including making progress towards establishing the CSM," Chollet stated.
