Dacic: Kurti is one of the main obstacles and threats to regional peace and stability
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Ivica Dacic, said today that Serbia had been talking for years about Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti being one of the main obstacles and threats to regional peace and stability.
"Instead of the normalization of relations, which the entire international community insists on, he constantly makes unilateral moves that cause escalation and that cause the need to de-escalate that situation, where in ten days some incident will happen again," Dacic said, who is staying in Banja Luka today.
He pointed out that what Kurti had done now when it came to the elections in which the Serbs had not participated, the mayors and their violent installation in the municipal buildings with the help of the Special Kosovo Police, then the issue of arresting the Serbs, wounding of the Serbs, the ban on Serbian goods, said about the fact that his idea was actually to provoke a war.
"He accuses the international community of being on Serbia's side, and he actually expects it to put pressure on Serbia and for us to recognize Kosovo. That's the only thing he's interested in. His goal is to expel the Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, especially from the north, and solve that question. Serbia will not allow that," Dacic said and emphasized that peace was important to Serbia.
