Dacic on the resolution of the European Parliament: Hypocritical to the limit

The resolution of the European Parliament, which stated, among other things, that Belgrade had to harmonize with the foreign policy of the European Union, was another example of huge hypocrisy, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ivica Dacic, assessed today, Novosti reports.

In his statement to Tanjug, Dacic indicated that the European Parliament criticized Serbia for non-compliance with the EU's foreign policy, and did not mention that Kosovo did not want to implement the Brussels Agreement, which had been signed under the auspices of the EU.

"Aren't the Brussels Agreement and the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities a basic element of European foreign policy? Also, there is talk about the territorial integrity of Ukraine, and they call on the violation of the territorial integrity of Serbia," Dacic noted.

Dacic says that before "giving lessons" to Serbia about non-compliance with the EU's foreign policy, the European Parliament should agree with the basic principles of international law on the protection of the territorial integrity of all countries in the world "unless it thinks that Serbia has no right to international law".

"In a few words - hypocritical to the limit," Dacic concluded.
