Djuric discusses Serbia-US Strategic Dialogue with American Jewish Committee delegation

Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric met today in New York with a delegation of the American Jewish Committee, led by Jason Isaacson, Chief Policy and Political Affairs Officer, and Agnieszka Markiewicz, Director of the American Jewish Committee’s Central Europe Institute.

According to a statement from the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the interlocutors also exchanged views on the Serbia-US Strategic Dialogue as an important framework for deepening bilateral cooperation and opening up new opportunities for partnership in various areas.

The discussion also addressed opportunities to further strengthen ties among institutions in Serbia, the United States and Israel, including enhanced parliamentary cooperation among the National Assembly of Serbia, the US Congress and the Knesset.

Djuric emphasized the importance of maintaining continuity in Serbia’s contacts with representatives of the American Jewish Committee, noting that every meeting provided an opportunity to explore new possibilities for advancing cooperation.

He expressed hope that representatives of the Committee would have an opportunity to visit Serbia.

The upcoming Specialized Expo 2027 in Belgrade was also discussed as an important opportunity to further strengthen Serbia’s ties with partners around the world while showcasing the development, investment and innovation potential of Serbia and the participating countries.
