Djuric: The greatest success of Serbia’s foreign policy last year was preserving peace

Serbia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric stated that the greatest success of Serbia’s foreign policy in the previous year was the preservation of peace, which, as he emphasized, is no small achievement.

“The greatest success in 2025 was definitely that we preserved peace. Preserving peace is not a small success; it is not a minor result. Preserving stability under conditions in which the world is burning both internally and externally,” Djuric said in a video posted on Instagram.

He noted that, for a country the size of Serbia, there had been incomparably more intensive diplomatic activity and contacts than in states with far larger populations, greater territory, and stronger economies.

“This shows how strong our desire is to change things for the better and to present Serbia in the best possible light,” Minister Djuric added.
