Djuric meets with Fourlas: Kurti’s regime aims to make life unbearable for Serbs in Kosovo

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Djuric met today with the Chair of the European Parliament Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee, Loucas Fourlas, to discuss the extremely difficult situation of the Serbian people in Kosovo. Djuric emphasized that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti’s regime is actively working to make life unbearable for Serbs in the region.

Djuric stated that Pristina’s unilateral actions, constant pressures, and policy of intimidation against Serbs are completely unacceptable, according to a statement from the Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“All of this makes the situation highly complex, which is why the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina is currently taking place only at a technical level. It is necessary to discuss how to continue the dialogue in a meaningful and substantive manner,” Djuric stressed.

The Serbian Foreign Minister congratulated Fourlas on his election and conveyed Serbia’s full support for his work in advancing EU integration.

Additionally, Djuric expressed gratitude to Fourlas for his support in Serbia’s EU accession process and for his efforts in ensuring that the progress achieved in this process is properly recognized.
