Hoti: Dialogue was moved to North Macedonia to negotiate CSM establishment date

The opposition leaders of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) and Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) believe that the only negotiations that will be conducted at the next meeting between Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic will be those on the date of the CSM establishment, as reported by Reporteri.

Democratic League of Kosovo MP Avdullah Hoti said that Kurti had degraded the dialogue and that the only negotiations would be on the modality of the status of the Orthodox Church and the CSM, included in Article 7 of the EU plan.

"The Prime Minister first told us in Parliament that the plan proposed to him by the mediator was not a "take it or leave it" plan, but that it had to be negotiated. In the end, it came to him saying again in front of the Parliament that this is the only non-negotiable plan that must be accepted by the state of Kosovo. They are not able to negotiate on anything. What a degradation of the process that the dialogue is now held in North Macedonia and that it is conducted only on negotiating the date of establishment of the CSM and the special status of the Serbian Orthodox Church, or the self-government modalities of the Serbian community in Kosovo," Hoti emphasizes.
