Former Foreign Minister Skender Hyseni says that President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti act as if Kosovo is a power with nuclear weapons, adding that all evil comes from that, Teve1 reports.

Hyseni emphasizes that the Osmani and Kurti act as if they have 200 nuclear warheads installed in Kosovo, gas from Qatar, or oil from Saudi Arabia in order to impose themselves as important factors in major international politics.

"Unfortunately, they see themselves as much stronger than they really are, and that's where the evil comes from," Hyseni said.

He added that diplomatic relations with the US had never been worse.

"Egocentrism and adventurist politics always lead to bad confrontation and always come out as losers. Therefore, I do not see the relations with America as very alarming. Although the bilateral strategic Kosovo-America dialogue has been going on for a year, it has been blocked for a year. I don't know why no one says that, but Ambassador Dugolli's letter speaks volumes and should be an alarm. It seems to me that today Kosovo has one or two diplomats in Washington instead of 20 diplomats for different levels of administration. The Republic of Kosovo had more diplomats in the embassy in Washington a month after the embassy establishment than today," Hyseni said.

Hyseni points out that Serbia is "more aggressive" in lobbying.

"All that while Serbia is very aggressive in Washington. I assure you that it spends 100 times more than Kosovo on diplomatic work in Washington, on lobbying, on contacts," he said.

Hyseni stated that he respected the work of the Albanian diaspora, but that their work should be performed by Kosovo institutions.
