Political analyst Ilir Ibrahimi said it was impossible to integrate the northern part of Kosovo by force if that part of the population did not want to integrate, Klan Kosova reports.

He estimates that exchanging territories could once again be a current option to solve this problem.

"It is impossible to integrate a part of the population that does not want to integrate. That is a known fact and you cannot force them. The efforts of the international factor had to be justified because when Kosovo was declared an independent state, the main argument was a multi-ethnic state creation, in other words, for several ethnic groups to live together in one state. Is such a large investment by Kosovo justified to continue such efforts with the north, or should we return to the exchange of territories?" Ibrahimi said.
