Russian comedians Vovan and Lexus managed to deceive Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who, believing he was speaking with Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics, stated that the West should provide stronger support to the opposition in Belgrade and facilitate a regime change in Serbia to ensure the country's recognition of Kosovo.

Thinking he was speaking with the leader of a NATO member state, Kurti confirmed when asked whether the months-long protests in Serbia were part of a Western plan to overthrow President Aleksandar Vucic, Sputnik reports.

"But the democratic opposition in Serbia, in the form of these student protests, is not receiving enough support from the EU and the US. They need to support them more," Kurti asserted.

He added that his proposal is to "replace the pro-Russian regime in Serbia" and that "Serbia must recognize Kosovo."

"However, the West is not putting enough pressure on Belgrade," Kurti complained.

He accused Serbia and Russia of waging a "hybrid war" against Pristina and lamented that the "Kosovo opposition" is allegedly colluding with Belgrade, according to Sputnik.

Kurti emphasized that Pristina's priority is to have the EU lift sanctions and to gain entry into the Council of Europe and NATO, while full EU membership will take longer.

Kurti revealed to the Russian pranksters that Pristina is purchasing weapons from the US, the UK, and Croatia and plans to build a munitions factory.

"We are preparing to join NATO and to force our enemy, Serbia, to think twice before attacking us again, as they have done several times in the past century," Kurti stated.

When asked about Ukraine, Kurti insisted that the West must send more weapons and ammunition to Kyiv, arguing that there can be no peace in Europe as long as expansionist, imperialist Russia exists.

"More could have been done over the past three years, and more can still be done. Ukraine is the battlefield where Western military superiority can be demonstrated," Kurti declared.

He even compared the situation to the Cold War, stating that the US was able to send weapons to the Taliban in Afghanistan to fight the USSR, so he sees no reason why it shouldn't now arm Ukraine's democratic government.

Kurti also expressed concern over the rise of "right-wing populism" in countries like Slovakia and Romania, which do not recognize Kosovo, blaming hybrid warfare and disinformation for this trend.

He criticized Richard Grenell, former US presidential envoy, accusing him of orchestrating his downfall in 2020 and being biased due to the medal he received in Belgrade.

Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan) and Aleksei Stolyarov (Lexus) have successfully deceived numerous Western politicians over the years, posing as their allies. In early March, they even held a conversation with Christian Schmidt, the self-proclaimed High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
