The president of the Social Democratic Initiative, Fatmir Limaj, says that Kosovo would "burn" if Self-Determination was in the opposition, adding that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has no credit for canceling visas, reports Ekonomia Online.

"Today, the citizens of Kosovo are in the dark, the majority of citizens do not know what the Brussels Agreement is, the citizens still do not know what happened in the north of Kosovo, and this explanation must first of all be provided by the opposition. The media cannot do the work of the opposition, as some opposition leaders are trying to do. Everything that the opposition does today in Kosovo, unfortunately, comes down to those plenary sessions where they do not defend the issue properly either.

"Kosovo has never had a more non-transparent dialogue than what is happening in Kurti's time, an agreement has been reached and there are two dialogue sessions," said Limaj.

Limaj points out that Kosovo was shaken after the elections were held in the north of Kosovo.

"With these elections that were held in the north, you (Self-Determination) shook Kosovo and what happened, the opposition, instead of stopping these steps taken by the prime minister, they somehow partially legitimize his steps, such as participating in the elections in the north of Kosovo", said Limaj.

Also, Limaj directed his critics towards the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, stating that she violated the Constitution in the case of the removal of the former President of the CEC, Valeta Daka.
Limaj also believes that Prime Minister Albin Kurti has no credit for canceling visas for citizens of Kosovo.

"None of this is his result. The visa liberalization process was completed in 2017. As for the application to the Council of Europe, it is also a process that started in 2011, which was stopped along the way due to political events, due to the situation.

"What is happening to us today is rather the result of what is happening in Ukraine, since Russia is no longer a member of the Council of Europe," Limaj concluded.a
