The Office for Kosovo and Metohija announced that graffiti praising the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) organization was written on the road to the Brezovica Ski Center, which caused great concern to Strpce residents. The Office stated that they expected international representatives to make a clear decision regarding the writing of KLA graffiti in Serbian areas.

"On the way to the Brezovica Ski Center, graffiti praising the terrorist organization KLA was written on the asphalt road, as well as on the auxiliary facility along the road, which caused great concern to the residents of Strpce," the statement said.

As it was added, that pressure, as a new one in a series of incidents, was reported by the concerned residents of Sirinicka Zupa, who perceive this gesture as another provocation and pressure, and also intimidation to which they are exposed almost daily.

"The life of the Serbs in Strpce, who for the last year have been exposed to almost daily persecution, raids by ROSU, political processes, and oppression, have become very difficult, and now they have been disturbing them in this way with the clear goal to leave their homes, but they are determined to stay and survive on their centuries-old hearths," the Office for Kosovo and Metohija points out.

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija asked: "how is it that in Kosovo and Metohija, it is allowed to write graffiti praising the terrorist organization KLA, from which the Serbian people in the province suffered tragically, and that no one is responsible for it, but any mention and insistence on the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities (CSM) is prohibited, as well as hanging any emblems associated with the CSM, whose formation is verified by the European Union."

"There is no doubt that in Pristina they dream about the criminal KLA organization, instead of the CSM, and that there is neither political nor social will to send criminals, crimes, and the politics of fear to the past once and for all," the announcement states.

The Office for Kosovo and Metohija expects international representatives to make a clear decision regarding the writing of KLA graffiti in Serbian areas and the competent authorities to sanction those responsible.
