Albin Kurti continues his violent and shameless confiscation of Serbian property in northern Kosovo, as this morning he seized six residential buildings in the municipality of Zubin Potok, which were built with funds from the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the Office for Kosovo and Metohija stated.

“In doing so, he took over 107 apartments intended for housing-displaced Serbs from this municipality, without any legal basis or justification. This directly jeopardized the interests and rights of hundreds of Serbs who, along with their families, were supposed to live there. This morning, he sent his inspectors to close six Serbian buildings where Serbs were due to move in in the coming days. Instead, yellow tape has been strung around these buildings today,” the Office stated.

As they emphasize, following the failure of Kurti's false accusations with the international community after the Ibar-Lepenac canal incident, he continues his assault on Zubin Potok.

“After the incident at the Ibar-Lepenac canal, Kurti is intensifying his attack on Zubin Potok because his manipulations and false accusations failed to gain traction even with the international community, so now he is trying to cover his tracks by provoking a new crisis and tensions on the ground,” the statement said.

They add that Kurti continues his plunder of everything Serbian.

“Let us recall that Kurti has seized and shut down several Serbian buildings and construction sites in Kosovo and Metohija, taken over Serbian municipalities, closed the construction site of a new university building, seized the Rajska Banja spa complex, and now continues his brazen plundering of all things Serbian,” the Office for Kosovo and Metohija highlighted.
