The authorities in Pristina, led by Albin Kurti, forbade the director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, Petar Petkovic, to attend tomorrow's commemoration of the 24th anniversary of the murder of 14 Serbian reapers in Staro Gracko.

As announced by the Office for Kosovo and Metohija, although Petkovic had sent the announcement that he planned to attend the memorial service for the Serbian martyrs in Staro Gracko on time and in accordance with all valid agreements, today he had been notified that his visit was prohibited without any explanation.

"One thing is certain - no matter how many times Pristina forbids Petkovic's visits, they cannot and will never be able to silence and forbid the truth about the suffering of the Serbs at the hands of Albanian extremists, because as long as there is a Serb standing, he will bear witness to the sufferings and torments of the suffering Serbs in the area of Kosovo and Metohija. The innocent Serbian blood spilled on the field of death in Staro Gracko for which no one was held accountable and the tears of mothers who lost their loved ones will never dry until the culprits will not be brought to justice for this monstrous act," the Office for Kosovo and Metohija said.

They also state that by banning Petkovic from attending the memorial service in Staro Gracko, the authorities in Pristina once again demonstrated that, in violation of all the agreements reached, they are using Serbian victims and sufferings solely for the sake of feeding their petty political interests.

"It is obvious that Kurti is not interested in any normalization of relations, calming of tensions and de-escalation, but only in how to terrorize and harass the Serbs because he is building his political career on that," the statement of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija concludes.
