Rakic: KFOR deployed at five points in the city, Serbs have no issue with them
Goran Rakic, the leader of the Serb List, along with Trepca miners, arrived at the Zvecan Municipality building this morning, where the Serbian protest continues.
On this occasion, Rakic stated that KFOR members are deployed at five points in the city, at intersections, with the aim of preventing incidents. He noted that Serbs have no issue with KFOR and called on citizens to cooperate.
"After yesterday's meeting with the commander of this division, the US colonel of KFOR, we received assurances, and today we see that they have fulfilled their promise. They have deployed their forces at five points in the vicinity to prevent the entry of special police units and any potential incidents. I take this opportunity to thank the colonel. The Serbian people have no issue with KFOR members, and I call on the Serbian people to provide any kind of assistance and support to KFOR personnel," Rakic said.
Rakic emphasizes that today, along with the citizens in the protest, Trepca miners are also present, who have been unable to perform their jobs since Friday.
