Ramadani: EU is asking Kurti to implement what he promised

Analyst Shkodran Ramadani emphasized that during the latest round of dialogue, the EU had focused on what Kosovo's Prime Minister Albin Kurti had accepted, which was the implementation plan of the Ohrid Agreement, as reported by Dukagjini.

Ramadani noted that the implementation of the Ohrid Agreement entailed the formation of the CSM.

"The EU has simply decided to start implementing the Ohrid Agreement, beginning negotiations for the establishment of the Association. The EU is asking Kurti to implement what he promised because he pledged to initiate the process of establishing the Association," Ramadani said.

He highlighted that the EU had clarified two points in the Ohrid annex.

According to him, these two points concern the issue of missing persons and the implementation of the CSM.

He also pointed out that the agreement stated that the CSM must be processed immediately.

"Immediately, in order to eliminate any ambiguities regarding the timeframes," Ramadani said.
