Sadiku: Kurti makes destructive decisions that border on foolishness
Political analyst Arbnor Sadiku says that the measures imposed by the European Union on Pristina due to its refusal to de-escalate the situation in the north will internationally isolate Kosovo, for which, according to him, the main blame lies with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and his Self-Determination Movement, as reported by Dukagjini.
"These measures are a reaction to the destructive decisions of the Kosovo Government led by Kurti, especially in relation to the West, which have bordered on foolishness. I believe that the Americans will make Kurti's life more difficult in the coming months," Sadiku says.
He points out that these measures have come after the "failure of the EU and the US and their envoys," emphasizing that the current state of negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia has "slipped from the hands" of the main European diplomat, Josep Borrell, and US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken.
"Kosovo will be internationally isolated due to the fault of the Self-Determination Movement and Kurti, and of course, due to the failure of the EU and the US and their envoys to manage the parties in the Kosovo-Serbia dispute, therefore, with the current state of Kosovo and Serbia, the talks have slipped away from Borrell and Blinken," Sadiku concluded.
