Sami Lushtaku, the father of the member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Mergim Lushtaku, after the fight in the Assembly of Kosovo, indicated that all members of parliament should take care of how they behaved in the parliament and their actions, which, he said, should be controlled because they also affected their families, Reporteri reports.

Member of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Mergim Lushtaku, poured water on Prime Minister Albin Kurti while he was at the lectern, while Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi threw a bottle at him.

"Mr. Bislimi made a big mistake because he hurt my son very much. I know that situations like this happen in the parliament, but I think that not only Bislimi, that scoundrel, but I think that everyone, including my son and the other MPs, should take care of how they behave in the parliament and their actions. They need to be controlled because these are serious actions for families as well," Sami Lushtaku said, who himself used to be a member of parliament.

He stated that it had affected and worried him as a father, as well as his mother and sisters.

"These are serious situations, to be honest, it's not good to take this situation personally," Lushtaku said.

He called on the MPs to be more careful.

"No one should be slapped, hit, or kicked. I think that especially the members of the Kosovo Parliament should set a good example for the citizens of this country, but not like that," he said.

According to him, it is Kurti who brought such spirit to the institutions and no one else.

MP Mergim Lushtaku was summoned to the Prosecution for an interview three days ago, he is suspected of the criminal offense of "assault".

Meanwhile, Lushtaku said he would sue Deputy Prime Minister Bisnik Bislimi, the Minister of Justice, and the Minister of Finance, Labor and Transfers for physical assault.
