Serbs at the barricades 17 days, calm morning after last night's shooting near Zubin Potok

In the north of Kosovo, Serbs are at the barricades for the 17th day. Although the previous night was tense due to the shooting that was heard in Zubin Potok just before 8 pm, the citizens remained at the barricades.

Their message is the same – they will remove the roadblocks when the arrested Serbs are released and when Pristina withdraws its special police forces from the north.

On the occasion of the burst-fire that was heard last night near Zubin Potok, accusations were made from Pristina that KFOR was attacked. However, the KFOR mission announced last night that their patrol, while on duty in the vicinity of Zubin Potok, heard and saw several shots nearby and said there were no injuries or material damage.

The Kosovo police stated that there were no attacks on their members or exchange of fire between the police and any group.

Chief of the Serbian Army General Staff, Milan Mojsilovic, said last night regarding the Kosovo situation, after a meeting with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, that the Army had received tasks that it would fully carry out. He pointed out that the situation in Kosovo was complex and required the presence of the Army along the administrative line.

Yesterday, Pristina forbade the Serbian Orthodox Church Patriarch Porfirije to travel to the Patriarchate of Pec before Christmas.
