Sherifi: For Kurti, the position of chief prosecutor is more important than the position of prime minister

MP Nisme Bilal Sherifi reacted to Prime Minister Albin Kurti's statement that it would be best if he became the chief prosecutor, pointing out that perhaps Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani was waiting for Kurti to meet the criteria and that was why she had not appointed a prosecutor yet.

Sherifi said on his Facebook account that for Albin Kurti, the position of chief prosecutor is more important than the position of prime minister.

"It seems that for this reason, Vjosa Osmani has not appointed the chief prosecutor until today. Maybe she has been waiting for Albin Kurti to meet the criteria to compete for the chief prosecutor. The president will not make a decision on the proposed name of the country's chief prosecutor. For Albin Kurti, the position of chief prosecutor is more important than the position of prime minister of the country. If he could, the head of the government would become the chief prosecutor himself," Sherifi said.
