The US State Department said that launching a strategic dialogue with Kosovo depends on the creation of appropriate conditions, including Kosovo's fulfillment of its commitments to Kosovo Serbs, Radio Free Europe reported.

In its response to RFE, the State Department reiterated the position it had expressed in July, without specifying whether Kosovo had made progress in meeting the conditions or what specific steps still needed to be taken.

“We remain committed to advancing the shared interests of the United States and the people of Kosovo,” a State Department spokesperson said.

During talks with US Senators Jeanne Shaheen and Dick Durbin two days ago, Kosovo President Justina Shiroka Pula emphasized the need to urgently resume the strategic dialogue between Kosovo and the United States, describing it as a key instrument for deepening the partnership and advancing shared priorities.
