The head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) parliamentary group, Abelard Tahiri, said a clear message was sent in Munich to President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti, by being ignored by the US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

According to Tahiri, it is a bad message that before the meeting on February 27 in Brussels, Antony Blinken met with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, and not with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

"It is worrying that the State Department and Secretary Blinken are ignoring the leaders of Kosovo. It is the first time that the head of state failed to meet with the senior leaders of the State Department," Tahiri stated.

He points out that for the PDK, the current position of opposing the allies, which Kosovo has in this process, is disturbing.

"More than a decade of dialogue has passed, and the result should be mutual recognition, but now we are talking about a new status quo. We are concerned about the fact that we are not closing the issue with Serbia but leaving it open," Tahiri said.
