Three Serbs who were detained at the 'Rajska Banja' hotel in Banjska on Monday night have been released due to lack of evidence, Kosovo Online learns.

Let’s recall that four Serbs who were arrested near the conflict site in Banjska on Sunday were previously released. The Special Prosecution in Pristina confirmed that they were released yesterday due to a lack of evidence.

Regarding the arrest at Rajska Banja, Deputy Director of the Kosovo Police in the north, Veton Elshani, stated on Monday that there had been two persons of Serbian nationality involved, while the Director of the Office for Kosovo and Metohija of the Government of Serbia, Petar Petkovic, announced on the same day that three of them had been arrested there.

Elshani also stated at the time that they were suspected of illegal possession of weapons, and the investigation would determine whether they had been involved in the attacks on the Kosovo Police.

It should be noted that three Serbs suspected of involvement in the conflict with the police in Banjska have been remanded in custody for 30 days. They are Blagoje S, Vladimir T, and Dusan M.
