Varhelyi: The establishment of the CSM is a prerequisite for Kosovo's progress toward the EU

The establishment of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities was a prerequisite for the normalization and progress of Kosovo on the road to the European Union, European Commissioner for Enlargement Oliver Varhelyi said after a meeting with representatives of the Serb List.

Varhelyi stated on Twitter that he had met with the President of the Serb List, Goran Rakic, in North Mitrovica and that they had discussed the European Union's support for the region.

As part of his visit to Kosovo, Varhelyi met with Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and President Vjosa Osmani in Pristina, while in North Mitrovica he met with representatives of the Serb List.
