Veliaj: Albanian passports should be given to all citizens of Kosovo

The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, said that Albanian passports should be granted to all citizens of Kosovo, Reporteri reports.

Today, Veliaj hosted Dua Lipa, a singer of Albanian origin from Kosovo, who received Albanian citizenship, and on that occasion said that the issuance of passports for citizens of Kosovo should be completely liberalized.

"I suggested to the president, I also told Edi Rama, that we should completely liberalize the issuance of passports for citizens of Kosovo," Veliaj said.

The mayor of Tirana also shared the video of the meeting with Lipa on his Facebook page.
