Vucevic: There is not a day without an incident in Kosovo; Pristina wants to make dialogue meaningless
Deputy Prime Minister of Serbia and Minister of Defense, Milos Vucevic, said today that the Serbs in Kosovo suffered a lot of pressure and that there was not a day without incidents in the municipalities where the Serbs lived, while Pristina did not want to act in a constructive direction, but in the direction of complete destruction and meaningless dialogue.
Vucevic said on TV B92 that, in the shadow of all the events and the atmosphere created in society, daily persecution and pressure on the Serbs in Kosovo took place and that there was not a day without an incident in one of the municipalities where the Serbs lived.
"There was a shooting two days ago in the village of Ugljare, near Kosova Polje. Fortunately, no one was hurt. But, while we amused ourselves about our misery, who will be the first to hang whom, or I don't know what to do to the president or the patriarch, until then those who do not really like our country and intend to amputate part of its territory, and above all to expel the Serbs, continue to work according to their agenda, to implement their policy, from which they are not giving up," Vucevic said.
The two tragedies in Serbia did not stop them, he says, but they saw it as a "good momentum" to be more agile in achieving their goals.
He pointed out that Kosovo was a difficult topic, above all the issue of the security of the Serbian community, because there was no progress in the negotiations.
"We heard how the last round ended. There is no intention on the part of the Albanian side to go in a constructive direction, but only complete destruction and meaningless dialogue, so that Serbia is portrayed as a party that will not reach a political agreement, but is a disruptive factor, ripe for sanctions," the minister pointed out.
As he noted, for Pristina and Albin Kurti, it would be "ideal" if the scenario of the 90s had been repeated.
"And that worries us and we have to be focused on that problem. While we deal with the safety of all citizens, first of all students, the youngest, confiscating weapons, we must at the same time take care of the safety of our citizens in Kosovo and Metohija," Vucevic said.
