Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic stated that this morning he had spoken with the Serbs from the north of Kosovo and asked them to persist in their fight for rights and justice in a peaceful manner, primarily in relation to KFOR, RTV reports.

"Just as they did yesterday and the day before, it is important for us to continue efforts to make some people understand that 3.4 percent is not a legitimate election and that they should not impose their will by force, introduce special police forces, and persecute and harass the Serbian people," Vucic said.

He mentioned that today he would have meetings with Scholz and Macron, as well as many other prime ministers and presidents.

"We will try to do our best to get things back to normal and de-escalate the situation, and whether that will happen - it takes two to tango, and it doesn't depend only on us," Vucic emphasized in a statement to Tanjug.
