President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, stated today that the Prosecution was charging the former Vice President of the Serb List, Milan Radoicic, with serious criminal offenses that he himself had confessed to and that the investigation would continue, and an indictment would be brought.

Vucic, responding to reporters' questions after the ceremony marking the 45th anniversary of the Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases "Dedinje", stated that the investigation would continue, an indictment would be brought, and everything would be covered by established facts.

"I don’t want to defend Radoicic because he is accountable to our judicial authorities, and he is yet to face an indictment once the investigation is conducted. Whether the investigation will be expanded or not is up to the competent state authorities. They will establish all these facts," Vucic said, responding to a question from TV N1 about the source of Radoicic's money for his "magnificent house on Lake Gazivode and all the confiscated weapons", adding that Radoicic "invested in his homeland, in a house where he wants to live better with his family".

The President said that all these facts would be established through the investigation, and he had no intention, as he was neither a prosecutor nor a judge, to condemn anyone before the competent authorities established the facts.

Vucic pointed out the way the question had been posed, stating that one day, the opposition and media that supported the opposition criticized him for three dead Serbs, the next day they said he should have done more to protect the Serbs in Kosovo, and then they demanded of Josep Borrell to impose sanctions on him.

"We've seen something shameless, something that reflects the nature of the policy they pursue, which is - 'impose sanctions on Vucic'. The same demands come from Osmani, Kurti, Djilas, and Aleksic. I know some who have more wealth on many lakes outside our country, the majority of the leaders you support are ten times richer than Radoicic," Vucic said.

Regarding the money for weapons, Vucic repeated that an investigation was ongoing.

"I am not a prosecutor or a judge to make a judgment in advance; I cannot say whether he is guilty, as you are doing," he said.

We will see what the "Quint" brings on October 21

Vucic emphasized that many abroad wanted to weaken Serbia, but that there were such voices inside the country as well.

"You are facing external pressures from those who want to undermine Serbia in various ways. I don't believe that is the case with the 'Quint'. I believe they want to pose problems in resolving the crisis in Kosovo and Metohija in a different way. I hope we'll see what kind of package it is and what they bring on October 21," Vucic told reporters.

He added that those who wanted to weaken Serbia found helpers within the country.

"Do you understand what happened? Someone wrote a letter to Josep Borrell from this country, not to impose sanctions on Kurti, who torments Serbian children and people in Kosovo and Metohija but against the leaders of their country because they cannot defeat him in another way. Do you understand? This has never happened anywhere. Do you understand who we're dealing with?" Vucic asked.

The President of Serbia also said that on October 21, he would go to New York for the UN Security Council meeting, which would be held on October 23.
