Vucic: We are raising the amount of social assistance for the Serbs and Roma people in Kosovo to 20,000

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said in today's address to the citizens that social assistance would be increased for the Serbs and Roma people from Kosovo.

Vucic said that for 5,607 people, the Serbs and Roma people in Kosovo, who received the state social assistance of Serbia, the assistance would be increased from 11,000 to 20,000 Serbian dinars.

"Where there is one salary when it increases to 20,000, it will be easier to survive. It is social assistance, for people who cannot work in schools, kindergartens, and hospitals. I think this is an important and great support for them. In two months they will already receive the first increased social assistance," Vucic says.
