Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabic stated today that the statements by Albin Kurti, saying that he would draft the statute of the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities and about sanctions against Serbia, had been expected because he was additionally encouraged by the protests in Belgrade.

"Kurti has now been further encouraged by the fact that, unfortunately, for five days now in Belgrade, we have not been able to talk about how he is further harassing the Serbs, what is happening in Banjska, how he is usurping Serbian property, nor about the current endangerment of the Serbian Orthodox Church in Croatia because we are dealing with topics about 40,000 voters", Brnabic said.

She pointed out that "tycoon media" call analysts to whom the example of democracy was the elections held in northern Kosovo, in which three percent of the population had participated.

"Such observers parade through tycoon media. So, this is the pinnacle of democracy for you - where three percent of the population participates, where elections are held in containers and with armed people. The truth is not important to them, but the narrative of how to destabilize Serbia and say that it is the worst in the world", she explained.

She emphasized that Serbia would continue to safeguard national interests.

"Kurti has gained a bit of courage. We will continue to fight for our national interests, the interests of our people, for peace and stability", Brnabic emphasized.

She pointed out that at the press conference, CRTA, a non-governmental organization that participated with observers in the elections, had presented only insinuations, speculations, half-information, pseudo-analyses, and anonymous reports, all "nicely packaged" for a political context that suited their agenda.

CRTA, she stressed, in addressing the media, had not submitted any complaints or reports to the Republic Electoral Commission, the City Electoral Commission, or the prosecution.

"I am forced to react, especially from the Government premises, not from the Serbian Progressive Party, because what we have seen and heard since Monday morning when representatives of the opposition grouped around the list 'Serbia against violence' has nothing to do with the list 'Aleksandar Vucic Serbia must not stop'. This is a direct destabilization of Serbia and a direct attempt to overthrow the constitutional order of Serbia. In no normal democratic country do you have such accusations going around the world where you accuse the state of falsifying elections without providing a single piece of evidence at any moment", she said.

She said that the story about 40,000 to 50,000 votes from Republika Srpska that had been allowed to vote in Belgrade had "disappeared".

"They say that is not the problem; the problem is internal migration", she stated.

Brnabic stated that she expected a public apology to the people of Republika Srpska and Bosnia and Herzegovina, who legitimately had Serbian citizenship and participated in elections, both parliamentary and local.

She said that CRTA, with its press conference, had incontrovertibly proved that there was no doubt about the results of the parliamentary elections.

Regarding Belgrade, she said that CRTA had said to have shown some inconsistencies through the analysis of rare names.

In this regard, she reminded that the voter registry showed that from April 2022, when the previous elections had been held without problems, to the closing of the voter registry in Belgrade, the number of eligible voters had increased by 0.8%, or 12,907 people, which could not affect the result.

She also commented on the statement of the Vice President of the Party of Freedom and Justice, Borko Stefanovic, who said that France had denied that its President, Emmanuel Macron, had sent congratulations to Aleksandar Vucic, stating that her offer was if Macron had not personally congratulated Vucic, that Vucic and Stefanovic never engage in politics again. However, if he had, Stefanovic and Dragan Djilas should publicly admit that they had lied and should no longer engage in politics.
