Atic: Citizens should participate in the establishment of the address system

The Mayor of North Mitrovica, Erden Atic, called on all citizens to take part in the process of establishing the Address System.

“I invite all citizens to take part in this process. It is a process initiated for all municipalities in Kosovo, not just for North Mitrovica. All citizens can obtain information through our website or Facebook page. Let them get involved in the process. There is also a commission that will complete the procedure in order to ensure the best possible outcome,” Atic stated.

The Kosovo Cadastral Agency and representatives of the four northern municipalities recently signed a Memorandum on the establishment of the Address System, which includes a preparatory phase for naming streets and assigning addresses in these predominantly Serb communities.
