The head of the Mission of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) in Pristina, Michael Davenport, said that the decision confirming the suspension of the operating license of Klan Kosova television "deepens the concern".
"The decision to confirm the suspension of the business license for Klan Kosovo deepens our concern. I believe that the Independent Media Commission in its deliberations will respect its responsibility to protect the freedom and pluralism of the media in Kosovo." Davenport wrote on Twitter.
The Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade rejected the appeal of TV Klan Kosova on the suspension of its work license, with the explanation that the decision to revoke the license was made in accordance with the law. The reason for revoking the work permit is that in the company's documents, "municipalities in Kosovo are presented as if they were cities in Serbia."
