The Ministry of Culture of Serbia pointed out that institutions in Pristina persistently tried to appropriate the Serbian cultural heritage in Kosovo, adding that Serbia was a member of UNESCO and a signatory to cultural conventions, which were respected and implemented with dedication.

In a post on Twitter, the Ministry of Culture points out that the truth about Pristina's attitude towards the Serbian cultural heritage as a whole is best reflected in the fact that the Serbian cultural heritage in Kosovo has been exposed to systematic desecration and destruction for decades, to erase the traces of the existence of the Serbian people on the territory of Kosovo.

"That's why it is extremely hypocritical to call Pristina to the UNESCO conventions, especially considering their attitude towards heritage and the fact that Serbian churches and monasteries are on the UNESCO list of cultural heritage in danger," the Ministry of Culture of Serbia said.
