The young artist from Orahovac, Pavlina Radovanovic, says that it is a great honor for her that, on the occasion of the Statehood Day of Serbia, she was awarded the Medal for Courage for her contribution to the art of music and pointed out that she will continue to unite all Serbs and Kosovo with Serbia through her songs.

"I am very happy to have received the order, because I represent Serbia everywhere in the world. It is a great honor for me to represent the country and I will continue to do so," Radovanovic told for Kosovo Online.

After the awarding of the order, she admits, she has the feeling that she must repay the honor that was given to her.

She modestly pointed out that this award is not only hers, but belongs to the Serbian people in Kosovo and to all those who gave their lives defending it.

"I am very free to say that this order does not belong only to me and it is not only mine, but belongs to the people of Kosovo, especially in Orahovac, in my hometown. Also, it belongs to all the heroes who died down there, as well as our peonies Stefan, Bojan and Igor", said the young artist who is presented by foreign and domestic media as a "girl with an angelic voice".

She congratulated Sretenje and Statehood Day to all citizens of Serbia and emphasized that her main goal is to help the Serbian people in Orahovac, her hometown, as well as throughout Kosovo.

"Everyone talks about me as a representative of Kosovo and Metohija and I'm really glad that it's been 'arranged' like that. With my defiance through songs, I will continue to unite all Serbs and unite Kosovo and Metohija and our Serbia," said Radovanovic.

During the recognition award, Pavlina addressed everyone in the hall the way she does best - with a song.

She graced the solemn ceremony in the Presidency building with the song "Orahovac garden of paradise".
