Analyst Ilir Deda stated, regarding the CEC’s refusal to certify the Serb List for the October 12 local elections, that when the entire political scene in Kosovo unites around the slogan of “patriotism,” the punishment will be collective, Blic Gazeta reports.
Deda noted that “the short-sightedness of today’s CEC decision to exclude the largest political entity of an entire national community makes everyone equally responsible for the position in which Kosovo will find itself.”
“There are no terrorist political parties, unless Kosovo is inventing a new concept of the ‘war on terrorism.’ The absolute lack of constitutional patriotism also raises the question—does anyone love this country?” Deda stated, according to Blic Gazeta.
