Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic said that the Community of Serb-majority Municipalities (CSM) remained the main point of all agreements on Kosovo and Metohija and that it must be formed according to agreed principles, which were backed by the signatures of the three parties.

In the Brussels agreement from 2013, it is clearly written what the CSM is, it is regulated in even more detail in the 2015 agreement, and we signed it because it is good for our community in Kosovo and Metohija, Dacic said for today's "Politika" newspaper, as reported by Tanjug.

"The agreement is not ideal, but in the conditions in which we negotiated it, it is the maximum we could achieve. These are agreements that put all the levers of management in the hands of our population, from the economy, development, education, health, to security and police," Dacic said.

He stated that these agreements were the crown of our country's participation in the dialogue with the European Union mediation, which had also undertaken to implement the signed agreements.

According to his opinion, there was never a reason not to implement the agreement, except for Pristina's persistent refusal to implement it and the Western mediators' unlimited tolerance toward their destruction.

"The CSM remains the main point of all our agreements on Kosovo and Metohija," Dacic stressed and added that it must be formed according to the agreed principles, which were backed by the signatures of the three parties.
