Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric condemned the deadly attack on civilian facilities at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, expressed condolences to the families of those killed and wished the injured a speedy recovery, stressing that Serbia stood in solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its people.

“I strongly condemn the deadly attack on civilian facilities at King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. I extend my sincere condolences to the families of all those who lost their lives and wish a swift and full recovery to everyone who was injured,” Djuric wrote in a post on the social media platform X.

He stressed that Serbia stood in solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its people.

At least 12 people were killed and more than 300 injured in the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The explosion followed an attack on the Riyadh airport earlier this week in which four people were killed, several others were injured and a Saudia aircraft was damaged.

A number of airlines have suspended or canceled flights to the Saudi capital, just ahead of major energy and investment conferences scheduled to take place in Riyadh.
