Fila: Kurti does not want a war between the Albanians and Serbs but between NATO and Serbia
Lawyer Toma Fila said today that Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti did not want a war between the Albanians and Serbs, but between NATO and Serbia, which, if it had happened, would, as he said, set Serbia back 50 years, RTV reports.
He says that the agreement reached in Ohrid is disputed because the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, never said that he agreed with Kosovo joining the UN, and adds that Serbia asked for the CSM to be formed first and then to discuss further.
"In none of the agreements that we signed during Milosevic's time and beyond, they never played a fair game, they always looked to frame us. The same is true for the CSM, even though it was agreed in 2013 and 2015 exactly how it should look like," he emphasized.
Fila points out that Kurti wants a war between NATO and Serbia, and that it is, therefore, necessary for President Vucic and Serbia to arm themselves with patience and not to fall for provocations because, as he says, it is better to negotiate for 100 years than to wage war for one day.
He adds that Serbia has started to raise its head, it has developed the economy, production, and exports from factories are 70-80 percent to the European community, and the moment war breaks out, it will stop and Serbia will go back 50 years.
The question is how much international law is respected because, as he explains, international criminal law is opposed to the right of the stronger, and at this moment the right of the stronger is being applied, and as long as this is the case, the Serbs and the state of Serbia will not have peace anywhere, not only in Kosovo.
