France: We welcome the release of the policemen; Kosovo to implement the EU de-escalation plan without delay

France welcomes the release of three Kosovo policemen after the decision of the court in Kraljevo. This is an important first step towards the de-escalation of tensions between Kosovo and Serbia, according to the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France.

France also called on the Pristina authorities to implement the EU three-point de-escalation plan without delay.

"We also call on the Kosovo authorities to commit without delay in this perspective, in accordance with the parameters for exiting the crisis set by the European Union, which remain in force. It is more important than ever for Pristina and Belgrade to show responsibility by returning to the negotiating table with help from the European Union," the announcement reads.
