Foreign policy expert Edward Joseph stated that no Kosovo government can afford to be hostile toward the United States, Koha reported.
He confirmed what he had also said about Kosovo’s caretaker Prime Minister Albin Kurti in the US Congress Foreign Affairs Committee.
“No Kosovo government can afford to antagonize the United States,” Edward Joseph said on KTV’s “Interaktiv” program, where he appeared as a lecturer from Johns Hopkins University in the United States.
Joseph took part on Tuesday in a discussion at the US House Foreign Affairs Committee, where he said that the State Department sees Kosovo’s Prime Minister Kurti as an obstacle.
In an interview for KTV, he said that the suspension of the planned strategic dialogue is clear evidence of this, adding that he believes that the suspension by the United States is a mistake.
