KFOR and Kurti's government have tense relations, Ristuccia left the meeting with Bislimi

The Government of Kosovo, led by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, and the KFOR Mission do not have good relations with each other, Demokracia reports.

According to that media, the events in the north of Kosovo have strained their relations to the point of a pronounced lack of elementary communication.

Democracia learns that KFOR commander Angelo Michele Ristuccia left the informational meeting with the Vice President of the Kosovo government, Besnik Bislimi, because Kurti's deputy made careless criticisms of KFOR and the international community.

The KFOR mission, the portal writes, most of the time directly coordinates with the leaders of the Kosovo Police regarding the development of events in the north of Kosovo, and not with the Kurti's government.

In recent days, Kurti's MPs have continuously criticized KFOR.

Criticism was directed by MPs from Self-Determination, Artan Abrashi, who accused KFOR of delaying the resolution of the barricade issue, as well as Mefail Bajqinovci, with an almost identical statement.

"KFOR has been asking for several days, and today it has been 12 days without a response," said Bajqinovci.

MP Dimal Basha joined the criticism of KFOR and accused it of allowing "a handful of criminals in the north to challenge NATO forces at the barricades."
