The President of the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration and MP of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Rrezarta Krasniqi, says that Albin Kurti's Government has failed in foreign policy and that his videos with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, with whom he only shook hands in Athens, are "throwing dust in the eyes", Teve1 reported.

Krasniqi believes that the current Government has failed in every respect and is deceiving 51 percent of voters who voted for the Self-Determination Movement in February 2021.

"We are used to this Government only broadcasting some videos that do not show anything about their work. They are trying to deceive people with this. Kurti first had to meet with Edi Rama before organizing meetings with other officials. At every step, with those videos, they are only deceiving 51 percent of the voters who put their trust in them. This Government is a failure in every area," she stated.

They said that they would request that the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Donika Gervalla, submit a report to the Parliamentary Committee for European Integration.

"To answer the question, how is it that in three years there was no lobbying, no admission of Kosovo to international organizations, no new recognitions, but only stagnation? We have EU and US sanctions instead of progress," Krasniqi says.

She also pointed out that Besnik Bislimi, the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and the head of Pristina's negotiating team in the dialogue with Belgrade, had not submitted a report on what had been agreed with the European envoy Miroslav Lajcak in Bratislava.

"I hope that they will come and submit a report on the details of the de-escalation agreement, and not that we learn about it from the media," she points out.

When it comes to new local elections in the north of Kosovo, Krasniqi believes that the petition is not a good solution but that the mayors should resign.

"It would be best for the current mayors to resign because the petition would later be used in many other municipalities, so they can also sign and replace mayors in other municipalities that way, which is not a good practice. I expect the current presidents to resign and to organize elections in the northern part. Let's sit down and come to an agreement with the USA and the European Union," Krasniqi said.
