Lawyer Mitrovic: Dalibor Spasic released pending trial

A medical technician from North Mitrovica who had been arrested a month ago in Jarinje, Dalibor Spasic, had been released on bail today, his lawyer Srdjan Mitrovic told Kosovo Online.

Mitrovic said that the Prosecutor's Office had requested an extension of custody for another two months, but that the judge had not accepted that request.

"We proposed bail and the judge accepted the defense's proposal. He gave an order to the prison in Podujevo, when we paid the bail, to release Spasic immediately, and the family members went to pick him up. I expect that he will be in Mitrovica in a few hours," Mitrovic said.

Dalibor Spasic, a medical technician from North Mitrovica, was arrested on June 17 in Jarinje while returning from central Serbia with his minor daughter and wife.
