President of France Emmanuel Macron stated that in yesterday's talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, clear statements had been obtained about their readiness to implement the agreements reached.

At a press conference after the EU Summit, Macron pointed out that the Union's leaders, in addition to the war in Ukraine and the situation in Israel, had also addressed the situation in the Western Balkans.

"We dealt with Kosovo and Serbia. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, EU Council President Charles Michel, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell, EU Special Representative for the Dialogue Miroslav Lajcak, and I had discussions with Prime Minister Kurti and President Vucic yesterday. We received clear statements about their readiness to implement the Brussels and Ohrid Agreements, as well as to establish the CSM as quickly as possible," he said.

Macron emphasized that the EU wanted this to become a reality now and for the normalization of relations to continue.

"We condemned the attack of September 24 and requested clear measures and an investigation from President Vucic," Macron stressed.
